Adam Woodward

Taken as a piece of throwaway TV in the vein of Z Nation, its mildly entertaining, but where it particulary grates is its association with the classic film it takes its name from and claims to be "based" on. The film is famously nihilistic and offers perhaps the darkest depiction of a zombie apocalypse put to film or TV, whereas the TV show seems to be half spoof with goofy characters and a comedic tone. If approached in this way, there is some fun to be had but viewers looking for a Romero style commentary or asthetic will be highly disappointed and should avoid.
