Being an out and out SRK fan, I was apprehensive of him working with Raju Hirani as both of their working styles, to my mind, are contrasting.
However, I saw 80% of the people in the theatre shedding tears. I was no exception.
I feel it's a film which will become more touching as you view more, probably a 'Jawan' is a film tailor made for multiple times theatre watching, but i feel one can enjoy the feelings of dunki seeing it in tranquility or with near and dear ones.
Beside SRK, Vicky & Tapsee were just brilliant. BGM & songs are top notch. But I feel SRK could have been utilised in a much better way especially by developing the emotional scenes a bit more with subtle humour in SRK way and not Hirani way.
However, it doesn't take away an inch from the film. It's a masterpiece. If you don't watch you will miss it. It has ingredients of both Veer Zara & 3 idiots genres.
