Just a heads up to the comment complaints. Firstly, there was never supposed to be an exact linear telling of life, as the beginning depicts the tree of life, there are branches that either lead to other branches or end. Therefore, the jumping around that is mentioned is the telling of each species and when they were bonded by a common ancestor… arthropods, reptiles, insects, amphibians, mammals…etc. the first episode is to explain what’s to come, and the last is to reexamine life on planet with some foreshadowing of the future. This is supposed to illicit some education, but more so entertaining cliff notes of life on our planet. For those who want more scientific data and proof, there are plenty of academic journals to sift through with your critical eye. For the non-science or non-evolutionists… ummm what are you even doing here. Bye Felicia
