I bought NBA2K24 hoping for the best. But my excitement quickly turned to disappointment. MyNBA (on RPG Settings) is supposed to be the most true to life version of the game, but despite adding a couple of new features, it continues to remain an untouched dysfunctional mess that borders on negligence. It's a complete Copy & Paste job from NBA2K23, full of all the same problems and issues that take a potentially great game mode and turn it into a long lasting source of frustration and disappointment. How they can release this game without fixing up this game mode year after year (a game mode that is supposed to represent the very sport they are representing) is beyond my comprehension. For Example... As a GM, you create yourself (which is great). But then you choose from a bunch of badges and skills (which have no explanation, and do nothing). You have an Owner, Staff, Players, Fans, and other stakeholders who are looking to you via your actions to make your NBA Franchise successful both On & Off the Court (but you can't communicate with ANY of them). As a result of not being able to communicate with any of them, you eventually lose so much 'TRUST' and 'MORALE' (even if you are winning and completing the tasks that 'do' make sense) that you get FIRED. But wait, there's more, before you go and get fired for no reason, you'll spend a great length of time completing TASKS given to you by the Owner; CFO and Coach that don't make any sense. I'll give you an example... In the Magic vs Bird Era you are asked to free up $20 Million dollars in Cap Space. Yes, you heard me correctly, $20 Million in 1984 when the Salary Cap was $3.6Million. Whole teams back then didn't even add up to $20 Million. Naturally, that's a task you don't complete. You try everything to make this game mode work (realistically) but it doesn't matter how many work arounds you do, you get fired. The only option is to turn off all the realistic settings from the most realistic version of the game. But what's the point of that. I didn't pay to play fantasy ball, I paid to play the most realistic version of the NBA (as advertised). In summary, 2K has turned me into a victim of my own optimism, believing that they would acknowledge that their most realistic game mode was unrealistic and broken, and would fix it before we all paid for a brand new game. But unfortunately, They haven't. It could even be suggested that none of the developers have actually invested any time in even 'playing' this game mode, otherwise you woud think that they would know. Or perhaps they do know, and they have just ignored it. It's concerning because these are the people who are supposed to be representing the NBA. I'll finish with this, I give it 2 STARS, but it's about time 2K listened to the MyNBA (RPG) fanbase and stopped blocking us out like noise pollution. 'ALL' NBA2K players deserve to be heard, and respected. Right now, that's not happening unless you play MyTEAM or MyCAREER. Cheers

I was excited about UFC 5, so I pre ordered and bought the Deluxe Version. While there appears to be some subtle improvements here & there, it looks and feels too much like UFC 4. It's disappointing to pay that much for a new game only to find out once you've already downloaded it and started playing it that it wasn't worth the money you spent (with no option to refund by that stage). Whether they'll add more content or make improvements over time, I don't know. I hope they do. But If you're interested in UFC 5 and want to feel like you got your money's worth, maybe wait until it's on sale.
