One of the best movies for 2020, and like the movie 'Contagion', ahead of its time. The messages found in the images and scenes of this movie speak volumes toward trying to explain or provide hints how a non-regulated crypto currency could be used by criminals to fund a wide range of illegal and nefarious activities. For example, in the scene where Marty follows Earl to his backroom mining operation. To the left of Marty are stacks of Corona Extra. Following that is a scene where Marty gets into his car and the sun shines through the windshield, highlighting his face in such a way it looks like a medical mask covering the lower part of his face. As if to hint that criminal elements could offer governments a backdoor bioweapon (like covid-19 caused by a corona virus) and fund the whole thing through cryptocurrency.... One of the most telling of all the lines in the story that can be applied to so many stakeholders: "They don't want to rock the boat they are climbing into." If a terrorist wants to sell a bioweapon to a government and get paid to unleash it on the world, then that means that country and the terrorist is either on a suicide mission or has a plan, or antidote to save themselves while the rest of the world suffers...or based on a calculus along the lines of "It will hurt them much more than it will hurt us"... I think the genius of this movie is in the story told by the imagery more than the actual story lines themselves... Watch this movie along with 'Contagion' for full effect....
