Watch Rebel Moon Parts One and Two and you probably will be left with a bad aftertaste. The movie is itching to be a good one but never makes a single homerun. And it manages to plagiarize several well-known sci-fi properties to boot, including wow The Man of Steel (don't blink at the cape of the Metallic Man - he is not Tin Man from Oz nor The Robot from Lost in Spice, but a nod from Snyder to his own earlier work) and Snyder rips off Dune to the tune of a few music videos of idyllic harvests and Thor like war stories banter from our elite worryhoos around Asguard's famed Hall of HayRows.
