I was disappointed that the suffering of the countries he was in was so minimised. I am familiar with Timor Leste and their suffering and triumph was incidental in the movie. They won their own freedom at huge personal cost. Also, they are a very modest people and I was offended for them by the revealing dresses the beautiful female lead wore.
