Good, but not great. No doubt Robert Oppenheimer was a complex man, but the way the story was told jumping from one timeline to another and then back again was more confusing than helpful or interesting. I never felt like I really got to know what motivated Oppenheimer or who he was more than I previously knew from other sources. I'm not even sure what question, if any, the movie was trying to explore regarding Oppenheimer's life or his place in history. If you got three hours to kill or looking for a way to get out of the heat, go see it. If you're debating between this movie and other good choices, make the other choice and read a book about Oppenheimer instead.
