I haven't read all the Cross books but I have read a few. The Cross Country Cross book does not inspire me to read others. That's not to say I won't read others...just that I hope they are nothing like this book. Cross books I've read are about a main character with intelligence and logic....features sorely missing in this book. The plot made no sense (for what purpose would he travel to Africa where he has no authority or contracts...not to mention no clear or reasonable objective given their lack). He's not Bond nor Bourne. Soul crushing.
