Um, I’m not really sure what everyone else watched, cause it doesn’t seem to be what I did. Mc and her first friend are very cute, wholesome, and imo should have maybe been the only characters at all. Every other friend she makes is uh… something else, ranging from “I’m gonna throw my friend who has severe social anxiety into uncomfortable situations every chance I get cause I think that’s how to help her” to “I am now your dog” to even “I’m going to kidnap and threaten to kill your friend because they’re ugly and only I’m popular enough to be friends with you”. It doesn’t handle the actual abuse received by the most un-offensive character well at all, as his literal kidnapper and would be murderer is forgiven for the crime the next day (after not really apologizing to him either), and she becomes a member of the friend group. I thought the first episode had good set up for something sweet, but unless you want to watch girls pick up hair off the floor, and stick it in their mouth (animated with extreme detail too), then kidnap and be forgiven, I wouldn’t recommend this.
