I didn't know much about Elvis' life. This film was enlightening. I've read criticism about shifting time frames and Tom Hanks' performance, but the overall effect hit me hard. I could see and feel the magnetism and pain..despite comments that they didn't show his inner turmoil. I appreciated this film and would see it again.
