Turkish drama/comedy/soaps were never on my radar until photos of Can Yaman started appearing in my IG feed. I asked my best friend about it because I knew she LOVED Turkish shows. She told me the photos were from Erkenci Kus (Early Birds or Daydreamer) and promptly said I should watch. It took a while to find the episodes online with English subtitles but once I found - OMG!! Can we say stayed up many a night until 4 or 5a when I had to be up for work at 8a? Yes, I did! I laughed, I cried, I talked to the screen like someone could hear me and I randomly would text my best friend to describe every emotion I was feeling. (You're going into the Vortex, don't say I didn't warn you!) JJ is and will always be my FAVORITE character. When he takes off into a dead run!! I cried laughing. This show has everything you want in good television - drama, love, comedy, satire, anger, jealousy, and SOOOOOO much more. I HIGHLY recommend but warn you to be ready to lock in and avoid real life for a while because you're going to be ADDICTED!
