Outsourcing this game really made it suffer, not just graphics-wise, but innovation-wise. I canโt help but getting this nagging feeling that this was a missed opportunity. I find myself reminiscing to the Pokรฉmon Letโs Go series, which was considerably more polished in terms of general graphics.
This game is so visibly rushed that some of the 3D models look as if they were PS1 models, yes, THAT bad.
Gen 4 is one of my favorites and I canโt underscore how much I was expecting remakes for this Generation, suffice to say, these donโt really do the OG games justice.
And I honestly wish I was exaggerating.
