Outstanding and Awesome! This is indeed a brilliantly made movie. The twists and turns keeps one guessing - is she sane or insane ? The narrative has been very nicely set up with everything fitting well towards the end, good editing. Above all we have a great performance from Barbara Lennie who is so convincing as Alicia'.She dances well too!

‘Vadh’ is an amazing film, especially if you understand the actual meaning of the word ‘Vadh’ and in what context it is used. Although it translates as ‘Kill’ or ‘killing’ but it’s pointing to a ‘justified killing’ or a ‘kill’ that came out as a natural or spontaneous response to something that is ‘distastefully contrived’. The word ‘Vadh’ was first used in Sharad Ponkshe’s classic Marathi drama ‘Me Nathuram Boltoy’ for his assassination of Gandhi. The whole plot structure of the film is brilliantly presented and although at times predictable it’s worth a watch. The biggest highlight of the film is an outstanding performance by Sanjay Mishra, he has given a performance of his life, and his expressions are exactly as they should be as per the situation. Neena Gupta as his wife has complimented well and her change of attitude after she knows the real reason for the ‘Vadh’ is remarkable. The subtle humor of the sub-inspector with reference to doha ‘Jaame kutumb samay..’ and ‘Manohar Kahaniyan’ is hilarious.

A very beautifully made film with excellent photography and background music score. A stirring performance by Daisy Edgar-Jones as Kya bringing out the emotions of the character. Ton Milton as the lawyer has also done a good job. The ending.., Yes! A surprise packet!

Although quite predictable at times the movie has its own merits. Very well scripted and a great performance by Kartik Aryan - a la Anthony Perkins! The background score and songs are good too. The only thing I wondered as to why the 'divorce' option never came up in the earlier conversations Freddy and Kainaaz? Was it deliberately avoided for the script to flow...

An astonishing film, must watch till the very end, believe me you will not regret it!

A must watch film, especially for Indian dance lovers. All the dance sequences are very well choreographed along with excellent music and songs. The starting Shiva Dance and the extended Kadambari Katha climax dance are absolutely stunning!

THAT DAY…25th JUNE 1983… 83 is a well-made movie worth a watch for cricket lovers. It recaptures all those moments that I had lived through in the summer of 1983. I describe here memories of THAT DAY: I can never forget this day of my life, my cricketing acumen was at stake. I had chalked out the nemesis of the mighty West Indies. My logic was simple, India /WI ODI series in West Indies: 1st ODI 9th March 1983: West Indies Won 2nd ODI 29th March 1983: India Won 3rd ODI 7th April 1983: West Indies Won World Cup in England 1st Game 9th June 1983: India Won 2nd Game 15th June 1983: West Indies Won 3rd ODI (Final) 25th June 1983: ??? The sequence was of alternate wins, thus: INDIA HAD TO WIN TODAY! AND THEY DID! At that time only we had a black and white TV so all the neighbors had gathered in our house and the Final began. India bowled out for 183 so it was a foregone conclusion that the WI batting machine would easily get that score. All the neighbors left and only I and a little boy were watching the WI innings. But as soon as Kapil took that historic catch to dismiss Richards off Madan lal, it was the turning point of the game. As wickets tumbled the number neighbors swelled up and our room was again crowded and the rest is history.

The story appears to have been inspired by the film 'The Reincarnation of Peter Proud', however the end is quite the opposite, guess Indian audiences wouldn't have accepted the original from TROPP ending! Still an amazing film, one of Subhash Ghai's best. Excellent plot structure and keeps you on the hold till the end. Simi Garewal has put in an excellent performance, good music too.

Although a different plot but quite reminiscent of the Hollywood George Clooney, Julia Roberts starer 'Money Monster' directed by Jodie Foster in it's style of presentation. Very well made film that keeps the audience on the hold till the last. It also exposes how news channels can go to any lengths to increase their TRPs regardless of the truth. Good acting by Kartik Aaryan.

Quite predictable, the expressions of the actors is a giveaway and one can almost easily guess what's going to follow. It's obvious these guys are not gonna lose and are past masters at the game. At times its reminiscent of 'The Hateful Eight', especially the snow blizzard backdrop. The dialogue is good in the beginning with a soulful rendering by Amitabh Bacchan.
