Well, what happened here then?
Lots of acrobatic tumbling, sword swallowing, lots of filling in, and an almost amateur performance from what we / I have been used to over the past 10 years seeing these guys.
No kilt cannon ball swinging guy, no ring master, nothing like the show promo trailer, not much kind of a story line either.
I've never left a bad review, but the 7 of us who came to see our favourite show were bitterly disappointed.
Sure enough we are in covid times, but if half the cast are not able to be present, call off the show and reschedule till every ones fit and well again, because this has really put me right off attending in the future.
We bigged the show up to 4 friends who'd never seen it, only to feel somewhat apologetic to each of them.
Like watching a school play with pyrotechnics, clowns and a band in tow.
Get well soon those who have tested covid positive, but do your fans a favour and don't adhere to the old cliche of The Show Must Go On, because it's left us very disappointed I'm afraid folks.
Bit harsh I know, but we've been looking forward to this, and it's missed any kind of mark.
