Soleil Roper

It is my first book written by this author. I had figured out several mysteries, but the author tried to distract the reader to make the book unpredictable. Then, my prediction was confirmed anyways. I skipped several paragraphs, because there were too many descriptions of the settings that were not important. I enjoyed very much the two stories together (the diary and the story). It is a great book for beginners and to study adding detail to a story if you are an English teacher.
