I'll be honest,i devoured the book in just 6 hours. I felt it's impossible to take my hands off the book. It was so addictive. The way each character was made is amazing. How can someone write such a heartbreaking book. The book felt so real! The book screams reality. It's been one week and yet I couldn't find myself out of the book. If you look into your life,there is always a Mariam and Laila around every corner of the universe. If you're a feminist this book is for you! If you are a humanist then this book is for you! The book is about two girls of Afghanistan. How the war made their lives dreadful all the misfortunes that happened in their life .... Starting from a really bad father to having an abusive husband. Anyone who reads this novel,will be thankful of the life they have now, they'll spontaneously fall in love with the story! It's worth the time and money! The most heartbreaking novel I've ever read. I regret not reading it before.

The novel was so good. The language is simple and easy to understand. Felt myself crying most of the time . It is a heartbreaking yet heartwarming story. In single word,"Marvelous". It not only has love story but also covers almost all the genere . "Every person with a heartbeat should read it" that description fits this novel the best! In total,the best book I've ever read! I'm sure anyone who reads this book will never Regret reading it! Believe me,its worth the money and time!!!!
