I was a young teen in America when this was happening and I remember hearing about it, but it was so far away. I never knew the details of it. I thought the show was interesting and well done for a crime doc. I will say, anything that might have been bad about the show was far outdone by Gareth Howard Davies‘ ridiculous misogynistic rant/review of not the Show but the women who lived through that time and dared speak their minds.

This show was lousy. There was no plot whatsoever. It just strings you along like there’s about to be an Aha! moment, a linking puzzle piece, but there never is. The show begins based on one group and that whole group is just dropped from the story. A whole different group of players takes over, and the two scenes on opposite sides of the world never come together to make a whole picture. It doesn’t matter if you want to look at this through a religious lens, a political lens, or an entertainment lens; the show’s not worth watching.

I don’t know what’s worse, the acting or the dialogue.
