Most of the actors do a good job, and the action is pretty decent. The visuals are solid, though sometimes unrealistically so. The costumes look fresh out of dry cleaning too often, even after camping outside for a while. But hey- that CGI looks phenomenal. They do a good enough job retelling the same story for the show to be fun. My only genuine complaint is that I do not like the casting choice for Azula, and her crew. It's one of those situations where instead of an actor doing their job well enough for viewers to become immersed, the viewers must keep reminding themselves that she is supposed to be Azula. Also, Mae and Tai Li have almost no lines, and zero on screen personality. I didn't buy them as their animated counterparts at all. Maybe I will be proven wrong in Season 2. I really hope that is the case.

I really liked Leonardo DiCaprio's acting in this movie. His character and Robert De Niro's character gave me a stomach ache for most of the movie. I am glad I watched it all, but it's not one of those "feel good" movies that I want to show everyone. You should watch it at least once though. Even though some of the movie was filmed in Oklahoma, there was no buzz here locally for it. I wonder why that is.

When you want the truth about a product, you filter for the lowest ratings, then you read why the person gave the product that rating. Save yourself some time looking at almost all the other reviews of Spider Man 2 for 1 star. Most are rants about how they hate woke stuff, and this game has a lot of equal rights stuff in it. It's a game with Miles Morales in it. Of course there is commentary about social problems in this game. It's a great game, unless you have a problem with heroes helping everyone. In that case, you might want to go with murdering people in CoD Modern Warfare instead.

POE is a fun game. Play it. There is still plenty of work to be done on the game before it gets 5 stars though. I suspect that the reason the developers haven't perfected POE yet is probably that GGG is spending way more of their time on developing POE 2 than they are with perfecting the current incarnation. I hope POE 2 possesses the game balance tweaks that are missing in the first game.

My favorite FPS RPG ever. Make sure to get the PC version, so that you can enjoy the fan-created bug fixes and mods. Without them, the console versions merits about 4 stars.

I loved the ending. You get swept up in her story, assuming what Joan sees is real. Her imprisonment reveals that it is up to the viewer to decide whether her mission is one of vengeance or one of faith.

I was having an issue finding an inexpensive dubbed HD copy without signing up for a Starz subscription. But my lady really liked the premise of the film, so we watched a SD copy with subtitles. I consider The Orphanage a worthwhile suspense/ghost story, and the first film I have rented in a while where I felt that we got our money's worth- even in subbed SD. If you are a parent, you'll probably get hit hard in the feels a couple times. The plot is clever, and although there are plenty of recognizable spooky movie tropes in the film, many do not turn out as you expect; making The Orphanage feel more like an original film. I recommend watching it twice- the second time so that you can pick up on the subtle details that you might have missed the first time.

Best adaptation so far, unless Villeneue's second movie is groundbreaking.

This film is a pile of hot garbage. Notice that there are mostly 1 and 5 star ratings. Notice how fake the 5 Star reviews sound when you read them? I'd wager they are the same few users paid to promote this terrible movie. Its few special effects do look like they need to recoup the money badly, so you can't blame them. I'd wager that a lot of promotional money was paid to fake reviews. Don't waste your time. The positive reviews bill Saint Maud as some clever movie where you have to keep guessing if the main character is psychotic or receiving messages from a higher power. She is not divine. She is 100% psychotic throughout the entire film. There is never any point where you question it. Don't get suckered into wasting your money. If you want to watch a snuff film that shows how dangerous people can be who claim to receive messages from a religious source, this is your movie. Otherwise I'd say it is an agenda-based piece about how crazy religious people are. Like psychotics need faith as an excuse to struggle with mental illness. If boring and unimaginative is what you like, this is your film.
