In all honesty, this movie is really terrible. The acting is weak, the screenwriting is lazy, the camera work is a joke, and there are so many pointless scenes in this movie that you could make a card collection out of them.
But why the five-star rating? Because it's an enjoyably bad movie. Wiseau gives somehow the best performance in the movie and the worst performance in the movie at the same time. And it's kind of funny as hell.
So if anyone hasn't seen this movie, I highly recommend it. It's truly one of those movies that you have to see in order to believe. It's not great, but it's certainly a great guilty pleasure.
