In my opinion, most series that go beyond season 2 should have stopped. That is definitely true with this one. It got more convoluted and ridiculous as it went on. I've known dysfunctional families and individuals (who doesn't have a bit of that in our lives), but these characters 'take the cake'. I must have slept through some segues - random things happened from one show/season to the next that had no history. Took them quite awhile to say Floyd was in boarding school when I was wondering what he was doing when Penny was off doing her thing all hours of the day and night. I'm in season 4 watching this mish mash hoping to see all these people turn their lives around or get some semblence of at least liking themselves, their life, and caring about others (Betty gets to slide since she's usually trying to be kind/caring in her own way). P.S. When people write reviews that divulge details about what happens, it would be nice to include SPOILER ALERT at the beginning of the review.
