I stopped watching this movie midway the moment the movie started glorifying molestation as romance. The director seems to be trapped in 90s time wrap. The story of a Kerala mainland boy creepily stalking an island girl and then molesting her underwater is cringe worthy. The worst, initially shown as a strong and progressive girl, she sheepishly gives way to the boy's lies and deception knowingly. Seems like the director turned his own sick teenage fantasy story into a screenplay. Stay away from this story...

Put in a mixie...a Scorsese thug movie, multiple Tarantino spiced characters, an Anthony Bourdain street food episode, small town Anurag Kashyap's guerrilla filming, with Guy Ritchie edits...churn it on turbo..and you get a pulp masala called Angamaly diaries which you want to watch & taste again and again. 10/10 for Lijo Jose Pellissery

Simple story. Likable, relatable & sometimes echoing ourselves characters. It glides like a 150 page leisure fiction, on a train ride. Worth a weekend afternoon watch !
