Ginger Lane

I found out about the show by looking up info on Julia Stiles, curious about what projects she's been involved in. Why? Because of that dreadful clickbait. You know, the kind that says ridiculous things suggesting that an actor is washed up and working at fast food restaurant somewhere. I knew that was absurd, I think she's a very talented actor and had to be working in her craft. I thought it was interesting that the Georgina character was indulged in what seemed at first to be an uncharacteristic and gratuitous murder....but the character was a badass and Stiles played that part superbly. I could see Julia Stiles playing a female bond character. Season 3 was just ridiculous writing. Even fiction has to have some resonnance with reality. The only rationale for Georgina and Gabriel continuing to pursue this mission in the face of risking their lives was an implausible curiosity. Georgina was too smart and cagey to fall into some of the traps they fell into and too sophisticated to make open declarations of war on dangerous people to their face. In seasons 1 & 2 she was drawn into intrigue and danger in an organic way that made sense within the narrative. 4 stars only because of season 3.
