Disjointed, boring and badly told. This is only the 2nd film in my life where I've seriously considered walking out. The Gordy sequences just felt like an excuse to add some violence to set up a 5 second shot or no relevance to the plot later on in the film.

It's a gentle, slow but captivating treasure hunt where people in Canada get excited by bits of wood and buttons. Their activities meander chaotically which can be a bit frustrating. I have to watch while the wife mutters "Just dig a bloody hole"! Even if the Laguna's and their partners don't find the treasure it's valuable archeology

3+ hours of delirium and tedeum. Opening scenes were brightly coloured perversion.
