I wanted to like it, but almost every scene is 15 minutes too long. This is probably the most condensable series I’ve ever watched. They were great actors and the alien story line was a great framework, but the way they filled out the story was mostly boring, with very unnecessary extra long pauses on certain imagery. The deep and broad mundanity (word?) caused me to ask repeatedly why something was being shown on screen and if it helped the story. There were dashes of great tension that felt like the possibilities of something really entertaining, but instead the Invasion story was like a tear drop of dough rolled out to the size of an extra large pizza crust…super thin.

Painful and boring awash with dullness and angsty melodrama and the ridiculous repetition of a dead story line. This movie is yet more proof that Hollywood is lost, acting is a joke, and talent is measured by back room bjs.
