In comparison to game of thrones, this story only revolves around the castle and the Targaryens only, which in my opinion is mostly boring, i wanted the clash for power between other houses. in GOT we saw a huge amount of characters but ih HOTD only characters are the royals which is very boring. also GOT had many quotable dialogues, many good dialogues, HOTD lacks good dialogues i guess

The plot jumps from one storyline to another quite rapidly, and for someone unfamiliar with the source material, such as those who haven't played the Witcher video games or read the books, it can be even more confusing. Despite these challenges, I'm determined to follow the story, as I've heard it's quite engaging. To improve my understanding, I've resorted to using subtitles or closed captions while watching. Additionally, I've been seeking out discussions and summaries online to gain better insights into the intricate plot. Overall, 'The Witcher' is a show that demands careful attention and patience, especially for non-native English speakers like myself. However, I believe that with the right tools and resources, it's possible to unlock the intriguing narrative that lies within."
