6:45 is not just this movie's title, it also feels like the runtime! The plot revolves around a strained young couple going to a near empty vaction island to rekindle their relationship. However, our couple finds themselves stalked by a murderous hooded stranger who appears at will and a timeloop that causes the day to repeat. Lifting generously from earlier films like Happy Death Day and Groundhog Day, the film plods along as Michael Reed's character, Bobby, attempts to solve the mystery and escape the timeloop. While the actors do a well enough job of servicing the plot, the biggest fault of the film is the pacing. It is dull and plodding far more than it is interesting and clever.
