I don’t understand why this is so highly rated, this show consistently lacks coherency, contextual backing for scenes, and is simply too shallow to be enjoyed by most people. I strongly agree with one of the reviews which state “it makes 0 sense”, this is a good way to summarize the show. This show isn’t reflective of how people act in real life, in so many different aspects. I understand that they may be trying to show the stereotypical highschool environment, but it is so poorly executed. Sporadic emotional outbreaks that occur for weird, or weak reasons, are a commodity. If you aren’t someone that dives somewhat deep into films and just casually watches, this may be ok for you. However, I thought I was someone that didn’t understand films very well, until I watched this. I could definitely tell this was a poor show, especially in comparison to something like the queens gambit. These two films are obviously very different, so they cannot be judged on the same terrain, but even considering this, they are not even close, in regards to the overall quality of the film. Cliche, illogical, weird, stereotypical, no coherency, spontaneous emotions, and shallow, is how I would describe this film.

Very pleasing film to watch. Definition of quality.
