Nope Nope

UTOPIA will go down as one of the greatest albums of all time when it's all said and done. UTOPIA pushes the boundaries of mainstream hip-hop in everyway, breaking barriers and paving the way for the future of Hip-Hop and RAP itself. Amazing production, compatible features, carefully structured tracks, and a changing theme for the Album that manages to stay entertaining. In UTOPIA, Travis experiments with many different sounds out of his comfort zone, despite most tracks being "experimental" he still manages to creatively ensure each track feels like candy for the ears. The album itself appraises other genres of music to fully accommodate each track. To elaborate, its as if each track REWARDS you for listening. It's so well structured, High-end production, Perfect features, different ideas but so strikingly well-made. Now, to talk about my personal experience with the Album. I won't lie, it took me over a month to FULLY digest it. And I mean by really listening. Most people will turn off UTOPIA because It isn't anything like ASTROWORLD. ASTROWORLD was mainstream and a safe Album for Travis, UTOPIA pushes the boundaries of music, hip-hop, trap, and sound itself. I was never able to fully enjoy and dissolve the album in my ears until I stopped saying "Oh yeah, this sound is different, I'll turn it off." When I let myself be FULLY comfortable with the creativity and uniqueness of UTOPIA is when I saw it for what it really was. The best album of the 2020's so far. And that's my message for anybody else scrolling here. When it first released I also went scrolling in the reviews and saw so many people calling this album 5 stars, I was confused too. I initially hated it. But now, I literally CANNOT stop listening to Utopia. In conclusion, Utopia is a groundbreaking, unconventional rap album that defies modern hip-hop and opts into experimental ideas and breaking the boundaries of sound itself while being literal candy for your ears. Utopia will pave the way for hip-hop. 10/10 Album.
