This movie pays homage to all the Batman appearances ever in movies and TV shows, introducing us to this new "Lego" world of villains and characters (my friends who are die hard DC/Batman fans couldn't name a few) . It doesn't takes itself too seriously (something like deadpool) but at the same time conveys an emotional plot containing lots of interesting characters voiced by a stellar ensemble cast who gave an absolutely terrific and charming performances and enjoyable action sequences. I know some dont like the Lego animation style, but trust me, it'll grow on you. It's been 2 years but even today when I watch it.... it feels like an Easter egg hunt rather than just an animated movie! DO NOT miss it if you like Batman even a tiny bit!
