As a super Digimon fan, I was so disappointed in this game. The story itself was pretty good, although a bit drawn out near the end, but the gameplay around it was boring and lacked substance. The worst part was definitely the combat system. It was only there to make you believe you were playing a Digimon game. The customisation options are really bleak, leaving you with little reason to be excited about strategy as a whole. Towards the end, I just auto battled, which in itself was more exciting than having to painfully do it myself.
