I've always wanted Detective Will Trent to come to life on the big screen. However, it couldn't be worse! It has absolutely nothing to do with the stories in the books! It's all a mess and a mix of events from the stories themselves. As a fan reader, I'm truly disappointed. It's sad to see how a masterpiece like Genesis got lost in something that has little or nothing to do with it. And triptych?! Where's the triptych? Isn't it supposed to be the beginning? What the hell is Michael doing in the middle of all this? And where is Sara Linton?! OK, I won't say anything else. If you really want to know Will Trent, read the books! The series is devoid of character, of the enriching police analysis and especially of the bloody and dark side that the books contain and that sends a shiver down your spine with each page. It's not a series for fan readers!
