Genuinely one of the best movies I have watched in the best 10 years of my life. I rarely cry or resonate with movies, however, this movie had me leaving the theater with the collar of my shirt full of tears.
I absolutely love the cinematography of it all, and the exceptional skills of the actors. I told everyone I know to go watch this movie after seeing it for the first time. Truly, this movie is one to sit back and enjoy the art of film once again and touches hearts with the sincerity and meaning behind the story.
And to those contemplating the movie with hyper-logical thinking and leaving one-star reviews... especially claiming that the movie is "incoherent" and "chaotic"... what else do you expect from a movie named Everything Everywhere All at Once!? The point of the movie is to simply enjoy the comedy and art of it and reflect on family values, and less about the logistics of actual multiverse traveling let alone 'good guy' versus 'bad guy' plot lines. I found the movie very easy to follow, but if you're the type of person to get caught up in your head when you should be enjoying a movie or the type of person to like typical and cookie-cutter films that don't challenge you, I suppose you aren't the right type of person to watch it.
Nonetheless, this movie was absolute perfection, and considering the small budget, was done extraordinarily well.
Absolute 10/10.
