Kristin Hannah holds nothing back on the truth of life during hard times. "The Nightingale" still laid heavy in my mind when I began "The Four Winds." Such amazing, tough writing that brings out the strength women had during these times. I would not pick this book if you want to read to escape life's hardships...but I highly recommend it if you want to feel the power of a woman's strength to fight for what she believes in.
