If you go in with no expectations, and an open mind, you may find yourself enjoying this movie pretty quickly. It is not supposed to be Star Wars, don’t go in expecting Star Wars, and you won’t be disappointed. All great projects use things from other successful franchises as inspiration for future works going forward. It is a project Zack Snyder has been wanting to bring the audience into for quite some time. Are there some similarities to Star Wars? Sure but for crying out loud, just sit back and let Zack Snyder show you his story he has for us. As for the movie, the CGI and visuals are absolutely on point and do not disappoint. The story, although feeling slightly familiar really begins to develop its own feel to it. Beginning to draw you in closer to the characters and they are dealing with. The sound effects pack a punch nearly every single time a bolt is fired from a blaster rifle of pistol, and of course anytime anything may blow up. I am very excited to see the upcoming part two and then of course three, if that is in fact the way things work out. If you’re a fan of Zack Snyders previous works, as well as if you enjoy adventures through space, give Rebel Moon a chance, and you may find yourself enjoying it more than you expected, I know I did.
