In the spirit of such memorable 2010’s films as Moonlight, Roma, Gravity, La La Land, Green Book and Get Out, Parasite will long be remembered as one of the best films of the decade. The acting is memorable and you identify with each character.
The plot directed masterfully by Korean Director Bong Joon Ho keeps you mesmerized and glued to your seat for over 2 hours through humorous as well as tragic scenes, though the ending may upset some as it is far removed from a traditional ending.
Don’t miss it, you will be riveted and stunned by the images and a scathing look at class divide, especially if you see it in a theater, not at home or on a plane. Also, do not read reviews of the film that may give away too many surprises, enjoy the perfect flow of the scenario. No wonder it won the Palme D’Or at Cannes in 2019.
