Warning: this review is based on all the episodes of halo season 1. Starting with the things i like about this show I really like how good all the actors were, pablo did an amazing job and jen taylor of course unquestionably gave her best. all the other spartan who were new and also kwan were amazing. The set looked really astonishing with precisely designed weapons, armor, vehicles and ships. The action scene were surprisingly good that what kept me hooked. The CGI, grunts elite especially brutes were perfect, i was worried how they will display cortana but she came out beautifully designed. I liked the estereggs they put in the show for fans to find out although most of us didn't. the flow of the series was really good, building the relationship between most iconic characters cortana and masterchief.i liked how masterchief was more humanized, come on we can't watch the whole tv show with only him speaking few dialogues.i don't care if he takes his helmet off when not required.i really like how they are making a difference with the games while still luring non halo fans into this which is actually very difficult. I still don't get it why so many people are complaining about where budget went, well i can see where it went.my favourite episodes were 3,5,6,8,9. Especially in episode 9 where chief dies saying that he trusts cortana. I know some people will say this could went like this and that according to me the ending was awesome i could feel the emotion in the lines cortana said to chief and that was the best possible ending to me. At the end masterchief was silent which gave me chills, how cortana must feel after letting chief die and taking over his body. This show delivered relationship between Cortana and masterchief in a very beautiful way. which made me give this show a second chance hope they will listen to fans and do some good writing in next season. Coming on to things i don't like Though they made overall good plot but still it felt empty in the show. Many things could go better but they still stick to make the difference. Like the battle strategy in episode 1 was really bad. Chief taking helmet off during battle, chief having sex with makee, pellet concept, kwan( i hate the whole character but not the actress), spartans going out of control due to their past grieving over their childhood, unsc sending spartans on suicide mission without second thoughts, filler episodes in the name of halo, writing was terribly done in some parts, deviation from game so much that halo fans can't relate it. Okay you know all the halo fans were also non halo fans they could still use the halo music its not a crime. With 9 episode few felt like halo episodes. If they don't listen to fans go on writing their own Fantasy i am sure this show won't last long. Best wishes for future Signing off.
