Truly, Truly, Amazing! This film might be one of the few films that pulled me into the plot without causing me to lose interest. The characters, the plot, the climax... It all just falls into each other like pie. Although quite gruesome, I couldn't lie and say that this film didn't do a good job at displaying the violence that goes down in favelas in Brazil. Especially during the 60's, and 70's. Oh! and one more thing that I liked about this Movie was how it was set up. I like the "Pull- In" method that the directors used which how I like to explain it is how they opened up the story with a cliffhanger, and then pulled us (as in the Audience) in with all the little details, and then later reverting back to the event that was about to take place. So nicely done and directed. Truly a masterpiece of a film.
