Dilema of a father and his inability to connect with his reticient son who blames the untimely passing away of his mother on his father...summarily a father son relationship delicately handled. The supporting cast has done justice to their roles and nothing seems out of place. Dastur shows sparks and has tremendous future with an uncanny resemblance to Sonali Bender. Kapoor seems to have played this role in real life too especially when he tried to console his sobbing son. Overall the movie connects.

Gripping...engrossing to the extent that you get this out of body experience and start feeling as if your body is in the movie hall on the seat but the rest of you is in the frame on the screen, whether with Dan in the hotel or whether with Mrs Iyer in the hospital and next to her bed. I have a russian friend called Larisa and the resort experience seemed surreal. Kudos to the October team and hats off to Mr Sarkar

The background music was jarring and distracting. Movie has got nothing new to offer except for the new Deol who seems to sleep walking through the movie but has screen presence. Overall a waste of time from viewers side and waste of effort from the movie makers.
