I think it is a well- researcher book, highly readable. Those who skip the note giving below miss a lot of interesting information for example the word 'punch' which in English means bawdy jokes has been taken from Hindi language and means ' Paache' or five number similarly there is lots to learn.A romantic tale of how individuals British officials and Mughal begum's struggle to love each other. A sad yet touching story.A lovely and pleasant narrative.

I have read the book so far, but by its title will find it a joy from the point of a astrophysicist, who delves in the wonder of our infinite mysterious Universe with its unique unbounded strength of capaciousness, we know about Carl Sagan by his Cosmos stories on T.V. during 1984 telecast, but hardly do we know anything about Nobel laureate in physics Dr. Subramaniam Chandrasekaran. I am dying to get hold of this treasure of book on science from a asethetical perspective which certainly enchants all, explaining perhaps the two sides of science a curse or a boon.That which happened to Dr. Robert Oppenheimer in the end..

I had read this book in 1989 in order to prepare for my UPSC exams. I was being coached by the Delhi based " IAS study circle", apart from this, I had to been advised to read " The Wonder that was India " by A.L.Balsam. The former I borrowed from my own school library the Kvvsn, Nagpur though a old edition. Therefore I didn't make much attempt to be thorough. I got the gist of what dear Nehru wanted to convey about the secular fabric, the warb & woof of India. Today I have read many books on India both fiction & non- fiction in nature of late 20 th & 21 century writers in English. Yet I still think that if written in the Ahmednagar fortress. ,it's certainly of high calibre, yet ,not need be memorized.

1.It is a too long & rambling account for young adolescent Priyadarshini. 2. To contrast the temperature between Bareilly & Dehra Dun Nehru, only states 112 degrees, with out mentioning Celcius or Fahrenheit. Or it may be a printing mistake. 3.His statement that " It is difficult, & often enough wrong to divide up history into compartments .It is like a flowing river: it goes on and on. Is extremely appropriate as well self explanatory. 4.Also it is a history of the world to a adolescent, but the English language used is of high quality & polished as his upbringing was.

Though I don't really remember what it specifically described, it was truly engrossing.As the title suggests there many dreams that were crushed, yet many careers make. It was a second hand book I purchased from a exhibition, it was my luck, it was just INR 50.But enjoyed it.

I enjoyed the book by Yuval immensity,it's approach was modernistic & enlightening. The effort put by Mr.Harari is highly appreciable.He has dealt with history of humankind very systematically. His book is highly insightful & inspiring.
