Started well but for a romantic crime drama, the movie seemed too direct as the story left no room for much suspense.

For me, this is the worst Tom Clancy game I ever played and I have played almost all. The game play is so wack, the shooting, fighting, driving and flying is terrible. Who ever approved this game for release must be arrested and jailed for this heinous crime. Tom Clancy games are known to be crafted with cutting edge technology and undisputed gameplay. Honestly, I was disappointed immediately I started playing the game. I was expecting it to be a huge improvement on blockbuster games like Battlefield hard-line, GTA V, Max Payne 3 and Call of Duty Modern Warfare. Apparently, the storyline and approach to the game had good intentions, but that is where it ends. This game, for me, flopped. I couldn't get past the second mission before I Uninstalled the games and deleted all the files. Good riddance to bad rubbish. I am terribly disappointed.

Must watch. The movie is so diverse and deep that it gives the viewer the opportunity to draw his/her inference and meaning. It's a very emotional movie, got teary a couple of times and most definitely, will keep you glued to your seats. The characters are few but they had such an extraordinary synergy it felt almost like real life. Gives a new definition to grief and in a way, is soothing. It didn't feel like a movie, it felt so real and relatable. I haven't read the book but this movie is golden... It deserves all the awards it can get, this is definitely one of the best movies I have seen in my entire life...

At the start of the movie, I really had high hopes for a good viewing experience. It started so well with two uniquely different relationships and a seemingly rejuvenated Paula Patton who was having troubles at her job. However, I believe that's where the writer/producer/director (or whoever it is that is responsible for the direction of a movie plot) fell off a cliff. Right from the scene at the Gas station, then the Casa del Vela and just everything from here, the bad, annoying acting from Paula Patton, the confusing characters being portrayed by Darren and his girlfriend and just about every other thing, made the movie a really boring and kind of, insulting watch. I expected more from Paula Patton, I mean, she used to be such a screen enigma. I think this cabin in the woods movie idea, a romantic getaway gone bad or home invasion movie plot has to be rested for a long while or at least, left for comedy or family movies. I doubt if it will ever be more serious than what we have seen in the past. And yet again, the movie had good intentions with the exposé on drugs, crime, human trafficking and police corruption/culpability but failed to deliver a convincing and serious message to viewers. This is not a drama, the action part failed terribly and Paula Patton needs to get her acts together.
