I was excited to get this book, I'm always looking for new authors to devour, especially in the horror genre. This book was not as advertised. Tremblay is a good story teller but the whole work really went nowhere at a snails pace. I keep waiting to be thrilled or creeped out and it never happened. It made such a meh impression on me that I don't think I'll bother with reading any more of his work.
