I am a native hindi speakar, I don't speak or understand Telugu, I watch the movies using subtitles. This review is more of a comparison between the original and the remake.(Long review)
If you are copying a story, at least copy the context too.
The only pro, i found was Kartik's own flavour of Allu's character.
No police station scene but Police(Rajpal Yadav) visiting the Jindal Villa have the same dialogue and reaction.
Weak characterization of Jindal's fake son.
You keep an umbrella with villain who looks the same age as Kartik(may be slightly older). Original villain was older and an umbrella made sense there.
Kriti Sanon(I like her ) was no where close to the orginal acting.
You literally removed 3 female characters from the original part, in turn removing a fun+emotional flavour from the movie.
Manisha Koirala saying in the last scene " Tum mere bete se behtar ho". The whole background story of having problem was cut off,. Father praising the Allu i front of Tbu, for standing up for Pooja on that businessman encounter
All in all - it is a bad remake, the writers who copied the story could not even copy it properly. You guyz removed background stories of so many eventful scenes.
Writers, director suck.
Waste of a good actors.
Murli Sharma and Tabu were far better that Paresh Rawal and Manisha Koirala respectively.
Ronit Roy didn't get proper screen time as in the original one.
Sunny Hinduja was good.
Writers made a mockery of Ankur Rathee's character initially, they tried to compensate later but the damege was already done.
Kartik was good with his own flavour of Allu's character.
Kriti Sanon didn't fit the role.
Weak character for Rajpal Yadav. Look at the original.
Weak character for Ali Asgar. Look at the original.
