When I started reading the Bible when I was a teenager I think God that I had a Good News Bible. So I had a Good News Bible in one hand and I had a King James version Bible and the other. I was able to understand the Good News Bible and with the hope of the holy Spirit it just seemed to be easy to read and can totally understand, and I read it for years. But I had the King James version which I began to read and I really like the King James version but when I come across scripture in King James that I couldn't quite understand then I would refer to the Good News Bible for clarity. Which in the end wood make it easier for me to read the King James Bible
