This dark and nonfactual movie is absolutely depressing! Putting Marilyn Monroe as a sex-addictive misfit that constantly struggles to find her father while calling every man she sleeps with her daddy. This film comes across as a constant drug-induced cinematography hallucinant. Whether you want to look at this movie as artistic or not, it's a constant wave of sex, sexual exploration of one woman, mental illness, abortions, male fantasies, and nudity. If you're looking for a real film about Marilyn Monroe, this is not it! The only redeeming quality of this film is the actress Ana De Armas. She embraces a mountain full of emotions on screen. Although I didn't see her completely as Marilyn, she is an outstanding actress, nevertheless.
