I read this book a good while ago, simply seeing it at a Barnes & Noble. It seemed like an interesting plot and the title peaked my interest so I bought it. I’m a bit emotional and I did end up crying at the end, feeling with the characters. I also like how the author writes their stories. I do have a few things I’d change though. Maybe a bit more action since the whole book was practically the two main characters just going about their day while trying not to die. I don’t know about others but I liked the way the characters were written. I also love how it changes pov’s and its not just the two main characters. Nearing the end did seem a bit rushed and the two main characters falling in love seemed a bit out of the blue, per say, maybe it would have been better for them to stay friends or secretly have a crush and didn’t tell each other. They just seemed to move so fast and in love, but maybe it was because they were going to die soon. Most people read this while it came out, so I simply read this without knowing the hype about it. I honestly did like it, and think the plot is cool. But I definitely think that it could be used for more interesting writing. I don’t necessarily have much to complain about like others. I’m usually content with what I have.
