So I actually played this before 7, at first I wasn't convinced to buy this game after seeing gameplay videos. Once reviews were available and hearing that it shared a lot of similarities to RE4 (my favorite RE of all), I knew it was time to give it a go. RE doing what it does best and more. Enemy variety, return of the merchant, weapon customization/upgrades. This time around a lot more action based, which has always been my preference. There is still a element of horror but not as prevalent as 7. Cinematic boss battles, inventory management, simple puzzles, everything you would expect from RE. Couldn't put this one down once I started, finished it in a few days. Highly recommended for all, whether its your first time or a previous one.

This was another game I was unsure of after seeing trailers and reviews, got a chance to play and it was definitely a lot of fun. The next generation of Left 4 Dead for any of those who were fans.

When RE2 originally came out I remember having nightmares just by watching my brother play. Its been nearly 20 years and im still having nightmares! Must play for the die hard fans and newcomers. Good mix of survival horror elements and a little more action.

At first I was a bit skeptical about this game with all the reviews, but I must say this is probably one of the best games I have played in this generation of gaming. The story is the highlight, the more you play the more invested you will become. Highly recommend all to give this a go and fingers crossed there will be a sequel.

This is one of the games I have been avoiding for a while as I am not particularly a horror person. I have always been an RE Fan but at a later stage (RE 4, 5, 2 Remake and 3 Remake). I'll firstly say, to start off within the first hour it is definitely scary. As the game progresses, it becomes a typical RE game. Some action sequences, simple puzzles, inventory management and most importantly the crazy boss battles. If you played Village and enjoyed it, I strongly recommend you sit through this one as it worth your time.
