Outstanding, heartwarming, and inspirational. Perhaps the best film I’ve seen in three or four years. I’m astonished that I had not heard of it. It would’ve been an outstanding film on its own merits, but then Lily James appeared on screen in a supporting role, which she aced, as is her wont. Try watching it without seeing the trailer first. Trust me, a great film is much better if you come to it with no preconception of what is about to come. You can thank me later.
