This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever watched. I was confused about whether the characters were British people who were living in France, I was asking myself why he was a British judge working in France not speaking a word of French, or British actors pretending to be French. It does not work. It is absurd, but not in a funny way, believe me, I love Samuel Beckett and Ionesco, that's not it. It's like the whole posh society of London has taken over the French Riviera. I would have preferred it to be set in Great-Britain somewhere, I mean, you have beautiful seasides, there is no need to take over France. People have tried many times, it always ended badly. The British posh accent does not work well at all, French would never sound like that unless from nobility, not even judges or High Ranked Civil Servants sound like this in French, it's so pedantic. It's not only the accent, everything is so British. You could call this series "If France would have been British". Moreover, when there is an attempt to include some cultural inputs, of course, there are stereotypes. If you really want to watch something set in France, watch the French equivalence, Meurtre à (Add the name of a city, there are many different ones) or engrenages, anything but this. In the meantime, please produce a DCI Ryan TV series, that will be so much more enjoyable to watch.

If I could not put any star, I would. I made it to the arrival at the Greek Airport, when the mayor introduce them to her truck. The first movie was excellent, funny stereotypes, but not in the excess, lots of love and respect for the Greek culture and community. And here comes number 3, Greeks are dumb, Greeks are backwards, Greeks have antic cars, they saved us from the donkey and the carriage I must say. It is not funny, it's not smart and endearing, it is just what we are used to see from the USA movies, dumb stereotypes displaying the rest of the world as backward and uneducated while Americans are superior in money and education. Disgusting. Now on a cinematographic point of view, this movie is rubbish, from the scenario to the direction, it's bad, bad, bad.

I wonder how many of the 1 star reviews are actually Mr Organ's. It is so very difficult to depict a good picture of this kind of characters. Legally, it is almost always a dead end. They are so manipulative, so clever, that they can destroy people's lives with no consequences for their actions. They cover their track, they lie blatantly, they twist reality, they drive people insane, they can manipulate lawyers, judges, police officer, and get away with murder. This is why this documentary is a must watch, because it exposes Mr Organ for exactly what he is, it shows the lies, the tactics, the manipulation and the aftermaths, which is always devastation. The only way to be safe, is to get away from them. I understand why Mr Organ's family did not wish to be involved in this documentary, the consequences would have been damaging and irreversible.

The Danish series The Killing season 1 starts very strongly, but then starts to go down the road by episode 7 or so. It is slow, it is long, it is convoluted. I started to fast forward the episodes to go to the end to find out the killer was the person I had suspicions about since the beginning. I don't understand the need to have made that season so convoluted with so many twists and turns. It was painful. "It's this guy, actually no, it's this guy, oh it might be this guy, what about that guy, and this one, could be this guy too? Well actually it was that guy all along." This is a very accurate summary of the plot. Additionally, if at first I liked the political side story, it became quite uninteresting very quickly and I believe, they could have made their point in a much more succinct way. This story was dragged along and took too much space. The story apart, the actors are brillant as usual in Danish series and the atmosphere as well. I will not be watching the two other seasons right away, apparently there are shorter seasons, so it might be much better.

First of all, I find it quite funny Joseph-Gordon Lewwit has been looking like a 12yo all his acting life and suddenly, he looks like a 40 yo man, which he is. That was a surprise. :) Anyway, I truly enjoy this series, it is quirky, well filmed, original with different uses of media and visual-art techniques. I believe it to be a meaningful series, a look at human's behaviour, choices we make in life and interactions with others. It depicts, very well the doubts and questionings we might have in life even when an adult, when we are supposed to have it all figured out. Or rather, we were told we must have it all figured out. Not everything is linear, not all experiences are the same and we all struggle from time to time. Do our choices make us the persons we are or is it the person that we are that leads us to make those choices? Do reaching to others help us to get better, feel better? This show teaches to look deeper within ourselves, look at others with different perspectives and helps us to remember what is important above all. As I said, I truly enjoy this show and I love the quirkiness.
