I had hoped this would be a good one. The opening credits were great. The idea of bringing in all of those characters was a great idea. However, this timeline/multiverse story is done. It has gotten old. I also think it is time to stat recasting. There was just something off about seeing people in their 50s and 60's trying to play superheroes. I am over 50. I know when it is time to stop trying to act like a superhero. Finally, the goal of Deadpool was forced and rushed. I couldn't follow his objective. I also couldn't really root for him too much either. Too many actors have over exposed themselves over the last 20 years or so. I am also tired of seeing Mint Mobile ads on YouTube and now I am tired of seeing these old folks (like me) trying to act young. I am not a fan of Channing Tatum but I must say that he was the best part of this movie. I really liked his costume and what he did with the character. After all of this wait, the yellow Wolverine outfit was too little too late but the Gambit costume was great. Henry Cavill as Wolverine was also very interesting. That seems like it could work well. Final thought. Hulk vs. Wolverine with Henry Cavill as Wolverine would be a much better movie. Then you could throw in Deadpool.
